The Cord Boss system offers a selection of American made high quality heavy duty power cords combined with our unique reel system. The rising costs of rubber, copper and vinyl have made a heavy duty power cord a long term investment rather than a throw away item. The Cord Boss provides an extension cord reel system that will protect and prolong the life of your investment. Cord configurations include illuminated single or tri-tap plug ends. All power cords are cold weather rated. Choices are good (sjtw) better (sjew) and best sjeow) for flexibility in extreme cold conditions.
Arctic/Tropic power cords are made of oil resistant TPE-Rubber (SJEOW) which provides maximum flexibility year-round. Cords retain strength in temperatures as high as 212°F and flexibility in temperatures as low as -58°F. Superior resistance to sunlight, ozone, cracking, and chemicals, makes it great for use in garages and industrial applications where extra protection is needed. Yellow jacket color is a highly visible safety color for work sites.
